What is Juvéderm Vollure?
Juvéderm Vollure is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler with a softer formula that moves easily with your facial expressions. It also has a moderately dense formula (although not as thick as Volux or Voluma) so it is a great choice for filling in moderate to severe wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that can hold water molecules underneath the skin to plump and moisturize facial tissues. Hyaluronic acid fillers literally fill in facial wrinkles and folds while improving age-related volume loss.
Who is a Candidate for Juvéderm Vollure?
Juvéderm Vollure is designed for the treatment of moderate to severe wrinkles in healthy adults over the age of 21. If you have the following skin concerns, you may be a great candidate for Juvéderm Vollure:

At your consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals and ask about your medical history to make sure Juvéderm treatment is safe for you. Patients with an allergy to lidocaine, an active skin infection, or those who are currently pregnant, or breastfeeding might not be candidates. We can also discuss other dermal filler treatments or injectables for lines and wrinkles on other areas of the face.
The Juvéderm Vollure Procedure
Juvéderm injections are administered by our certified injector in the comfort of our relaxing treatment space. Juvéderm Vollure contains a small amount of lidocaine which will numb the treatment area and keep you comfortable during the injections. A fine needle is also used to minimize bruising and inject the filler into precise areas of the face. Most patients do not find injections to be painful and they only take a few minutes to administer.
Juvéderm Vollure Results
After receiving Vollure injections, mild swelling, bruising, and redness are common, but these effects will improve within a few days. Immediate improvements can be seen after treatment and results will continue to improve for about one week as the filler settles into the skin. Results of Juvéderm Vollure can last up to 18 months.
