Who is a Candidate for Juvéderm Voluma?

The Juvéderm Voluma Procedure
Once we have determined that you are a good candidate for Juvéderm Voluma, your injections will be scheduled with our certified injector. The entire treatment takes about one hour. The Voluma formula contains a small amount of lidocaine which numbs the injection site. Patients generally do not consider Juvéderm injections to be painful and can return to their daily activities immediately after their appointment.
Juvéderm Voluma Results
After Juvéderm Voluma treatment, you will see immediate improvements in the look and feel of your skin. Results will continue to develop for about one week as the filler settles into your skin. Mild swelling and bruising in the treatment area are common for 1-2 weeks, so we recommend avoiding strenuous activity, alcohol consumption, and sun exposure until the swelling has gone down. Patients can expect their results to last about one year for chin augmentation and two years for injection into the cheeks.
